Late January and my Keiffer Pear is blooming. I'm enjoying our mild winter and hope a nasty freeze doesn't come along (like it usually does) and knock the blooms and buds off the trees. Not a peep out of my Pineapple Pear, though. I guess that one's playing it safe. Scattered a couple handfuls of last year's grass seed in the old chicken yard. Hope it will be green soon. No more chickens for us, so I'm hoping I can revert it back to a small pen for goats. Today would be the perfect day to be out working. Not too warm. Not too cool. Stuck inside, recovering and working on bookkeeping. Enjoy your day!!!
